5 WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

3 WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

ONE: BECOME A MENTOR

Become A Mentor: Ready to walk through life with a veteran or first responder? Our mentors are a core component to Operation Barnabas. In as little as an hour a week, you can make a real difference in the life of a veteran or first responder.

  • Ideal candidates for this program are regular people just like you. Someone ready to build relationships by listening, encouraging, and celebrating victories big and small.

  • DISCLAIMER: All applicants that become mentors will have to submit to a background check, at no cost to you. A criminal record will not automatically disqualify the person.

  • Mentors must attend a training program designed to equip and prepare you for the unique challenges.

TWO: BECOME A CHAMPION

Your generous donation to Operation Barnabas will directly support veterans and first responders struggling with PTSD, addiction, and family and marital issues. With your contribution, we can provide critical crisis response, triage evaluations, and mentorship programs, offering resources such as transportation, lodging, counseling, and employment assistance. Your support will empower us to tailor our proven template to meet the unique needs of each individual or family, guiding them back to a life of control, faith, and hope. Together, let’s make a lasting impact on those who have sacrificed so much for our safety and well-being. Donate today and join us in transforming lives.

THREE: BECOME AN AMBASSADOR

Our ambassadors are vital to the Operation Barnabas mission. We believe that every individual and family made whole again impacts their community, rippling across generations. We partner with individuals, other NFP’s, churches, and local businesses providing a wider reach to help as many people as possible. Consider joining our team of ambassadors today.

four: Host a Community and Connection Meeting

Barnabas Community and Connection meetings are designed to combat social isolation and loneliness by consistently providing an encouraging and engaging meeting time and place for veterans, first responders, and concerned civilians. We are seeking churches and other groups across the world to open their doors to battle social isolation and introduce our veteran and first responder communities to the unconditional love of Christ.

Five: Prayer

Stop by Barnabas Headquarters and meet in the “War Room”–our dedicated room for prayer. If you are out of the area, please text or call our Barnabas line at (904) 788-5926 so we can pray for you or so you can volunteer to be a Barnabas Prayer Warrior and pray with a veteran or first responder.
